Weherahena Temple                  Weherahena Viharaya is situated in kakanadura, Matara.It's about 7km away from matara town. Hanthana Mountain            Hanthana mountain is lies in central povince of Sri lanka, south west city of Kandy. The maximum height rang of this mountain is 3800ft.                                               Pinnawala elephant orphange was opend in 1975. It was establised by the sri lankan Department of wildlife and Conservation.It is situatedd in Pinnawala in Kegalle district.                          In the beginning there were only five ophaned baby elephants and now it was extended upto 88 elephants which include 37 male elephants and 51 female elephants which belongs to three generations.There are 48 workers who give the protection to them.                                   Adult elephanta eat about 250kg of plants like jak fruit, coconut, kithul and some amount of rice too.And for the infant elephants they have to feed them some milk.As this ...

Koneshwaram Temple Thirukoneshwaram or the holy koneshwaram temple is a hindu temple which is located in trincomalee, the Eastern coast of Sri Lanka.It is located in a high rocky area and three sides are sourrounded by the sea. This is where Ravana dropped his sword to Lover's leap or Ravana's cleft at swami rock. It is 350 feet above the sea level. People visit here for attest their vow and also some are coming with the intension of gainning babies.

Blow Hole (Hummaya)                                The blow hole or which is known as hummanaya is located in Southern province sri lanka, in dickwella.This is the one and only known blow hole in sri lanka and it's considered as the second largest blow hole in the world.          This is known as hummanaya as we can hear a "hoo" sound even we are distance away from this place.This blow explodes every 10-15 minutes when the pressure occured  between the rocks. The fountain spray often reaching as high as 25m to 30m.Now this place is developed as a tourist attraction place with small information center. Peradeniya Botanical Garden

Royal botanical garden is situated in kandy. It is the Sri Lanka's largest garden.It's about 60 hectares.It attracts 2 million visitors annually.There are 4000 differet species of plants at peradeniya garden.It includes orchids, medicinal plants, different flowers and palm trees. A signboard at the entrance, with a map, feature a numbered circuit from 1-30. The corresponding numbers are placed at strategic points on the route, black on a yellow background. 60 ha (150 acres) gardens, where you can easily stroll around a whole day, are stuffed with a bewildering variety of local & foreign tree & plant species. There are around ten thousand plants & trees inclusive of 4000 labeled species. One of the most interesting sites here is bizarre-looking snake creeper, whose tangled aerial roots look just like a writhing knot of vipers.
