Koneshwaram Temple


Thirukoneshwaram or the holy koneshwaram temple is a hindu temple which is located in trincomalee, the Eastern coast of Sri Lanka.It is located in a high rocky area and three sides are sourrounded by the sea.






This is where Ravana dropped his sword to Lover's leap or Ravana's cleft at swami rock. It is 350 feet above the sea level.


People visit here for attest their vow and also some are coming with the intension of gainning babies.
