Kanneliya Rain Forrest - Galle When we travel in galle, there a place to get rid of dusty polluted environments and feel the calmness of nature.  Kanneliya rain forrest is a one of the largest rain forrests remain in Srilanka. It has become home to many spices of animals as well as trees.  This forest area has been identified as one of the floristically richest areas in south Asia. If you a traveler, this is a place you must go. because there are certain hiking packages provided by authority of this forest. Hiking through a rain Forrest like Kanneliya is a unique experience that you'll never get again. And also you can have a natural bath from a cool river which flows through the jungle. Galle Capital of southern province Galle is a city on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka. It’s known for Galle Fort, the fortified old city founded by Portuguese colonists in the 16th century.  Stone sea walls, expanded by the Dutch, encircle car-free streets with architecture reflecting Portuguese, Dutch and British rule. Notable buildings include  the 18th-century Dutch Reformed Church. Galle Lighthouse stands on the fort’s southeast tip. and it is the 9th most populous city in srilanka. Also it is know as the capital of southern province. one side of the district is covered by the sea and it is the main reason  why travelers love Galle.  places for Travel in Matara Dondra  Dondra is the south most tip of the island. The point of dondra is considered as the southern corner of Srilanka. Dondra is situated about 6Kms away from Matara. Also Dondra is considered as the city of the Vishnu God. The history of this city date back to 660AD. There are many places to visit in Dondra such as light house, ancient temple and Devalaya, fishing harbour and awesome sea beach. Dondra Temple & Devalaya The history of  this temple and Dewalaya runs back to 660AD.  The Devundara Devalaya that stands today is blue in color to represent God Vishnu. Many devotees from around the Island and world come to the Devalaya daily.  And also the ruins of an ancient temple that would have occupied the space, still remains.
