  • Kanneliya Rain Forrest - Galle

When we travel in galle, there a place to get rid of dusty polluted environments and feel the calmness of nature. Kanneliya rain forrest is a one of the largest rain forrests remain in Srilanka. It has become home to many spices of animals as well as trees. This forest area has been identified as one of the floristically richest areas in south Asia.


 If you a traveler, this is a place you must go. because there are certain hiking packages provided by authority of this forest. Hiking through a rain Forrest like Kanneliya is a unique experience that you'll never get again.

 And also you can have a natural bath from a cool river which flows through the jungle.

 Go through these images and decide whether you should go there or not. For me it is the best traveling place in Galle. 😊

Please leave nothing in the forest, don't pollute it. Already many places of this forest have been destroyed by visitors from there garbage. Please don't leave anything and lets protect these places for our future generation.
