Kandy



Kandy (mahanuwara) is located in the central province of the Sriklanka. The Kandy city 
is the capital of the Kandy plateau. Normally Kandy has a balanced climate and temperature.


And also Kandy is a city with good historical heritage. From the Srilankan antient kingdoms, the last kingdom was Kandy. Kandy Kingdom ended after the british invation in 1815. 


Many building in Kandy are has the impact of the British Architecture. See the picture below.




In the middle of the kandy town there is Kandy Lake. There are several Kilometers around hte lake. Many tourist and travelers love to walk around the that beautiful lake. With the climate and the views.. it wold be a awesome journey. And also we have chance feed the fish in the lake.





Temple of Tooth Kandy

Sri Dalada Maligawa or the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy. This is the most attractive place of the tourist in Kandy. This is considered as the most sacred Buddhist temple in Srilanka. Everyday thousands of local and foreign pilgrims come to worship temple of Tooth.
